Fashion Street Budapest
Fashion Street is an independent brand operating as a shopping street in Budapest's 5th district, owned by a single entity and thematically renovated. The pedestrian street spans a 225-meter section of Deák Ferenc Street, with a total area of 13,511 square meters. It has been called Fashion Street since September 2008, when it was officially transformed into a shopping street following eight years of real estate development and renovation. Modeled after London's Regent Street and Milan's Via Montenapoleone, Fashion Street is Central Europe's first and only real estate development covering an entire downtown street section, owned by a single proprietor. Fashion Street connects Deák Ferenc Square to Vörösmarty Square.
