Djurgården 9, next to Gustav V-dockan

Djurgården 9 is a passenger ferry operating the Slussen–Skeppsholmen–Allmänna gränd route in Stockholm, Sweden, on behalf of Waxholmsbolaget.
The vessel was built by Boghammar Marin on Lidingö and carries yard number 1076. She was delivered to Waxholmsbolaget on 1 July 1981 and entered service on 8 September the same year. Since 2007, Djurgårdens Färjetrafik AB has been responsible for operating the vessel. She is a sister ship to Djurgården 10.

The ferry fleet serving the route consists of the vessels Djurgården 8, 9, 10, and 11. Each vessel has a capacity of approximately 300 passengers and is powered by Scania diesel engines, maintaining a cruising speed of around 9 knots. The ships are purpose-built for the short but intensive route across Stockholm's waters.

The ferry service connects three key stops — Slussen, Skeppsholmen, and Djurgården — providing access to major attractions such as Gröna Lund, Vasamuseet, and Skansen. The history of ferry traffic along this route stretches back to the 18th century, evolving from simple rowboats to steam-powered vessels and today's modern motor ferries.
