La Rambla, Mosaic de Joan Miró
The Mosaic of Pla de l'Os, or Paviment Miró, is a work created in 1976 by Joan Miró, located on La Rambla in Barcelona.
It is situated at Pla de l'Os (sometimes translated as plaça de l'os or place of the bone).
The mosaic follows the artist's style: basic colors like yellow, blue, and red, simple shapes, and a circular form.
During one of the attacks on August 17 and 18, 2017, in Catalonia, a van descended La Rambla, hitting, injuring, or killing pedestrians. The vehicle stopped near the Mosaic del Pla de l'Os, which soon became a place of remembrance.
