Les Tres Xemeneies, Barcelona

Les Tres Xemeneies is the popular name for the Mata thermal power station, located on the plot bounded by Avinguda del Paral·lel and the streets of Cabanes, Vilà i Vilà, and Palaudàries, in the Poble-sec neighborhood of Barcelona. Only the chimneys remain, which are listed as a cultural asset of local interest. Part of the site is occupied by a park where fragments of the machinery have been transformed into public art installations.
