Római őrtorony kilátó, Vigántpetend


A Virágpetend határában található Római Őrtorony kilátó az egykor itt futó a római hadiút és a középkori szerpentin út metszésében áll. Az út egykor a Római Birodalom Pannónia provinciájának fontos közlekedési tengelye volt a Balaton (Pelso) tó egyik északi főútjaként. A kilátóból csodálatos panoráma nyílik a Dörögdi-medencére és az Eger-patak völgyére. Ha tiszta az idő, a patak tengelye mentén nyugati irányban Hegyesd vára magasodik a távoli látómezőn.
