Zaha Hadid Building - 520 West 28th Street
520 West 28th Street, known as the Zaha Hadid Building, is situated in New York City. It was designed by architect Zaha Hadid and stands as her only residential project in the city, as well as one of her final works before her passing. The building is adjacent to the High Line and includes four art galleries on the ground floor. Additionally, there is a sculpture platform featuring art curated by Friends of the High Line.
Its design incorporates laser-cut stainless-steel trim, crafted by M Cohen and Sons in Broomall, PA. Some apartments boast balconies, and the building showcases curvilinear geometric motifs, characteristic of Zaha Hadid Architects.
The structure has an L-shape and includes a duplex penthouse that is set back from the main building.
