North Cove Marina, New York
The North Cove Marina, also referred to as the World Trade Center Yacht Harbor and Marina, is a municipal inland harbor situated in Manhattan, New York. Designed primarily for mega-yachts measuring between 80 and 150 feet, it was established in 1989 and is touted as the first European-style mega-yacht harbor in the continental U.S. The marina is positioned between the Brookfield Place buildings and directly across from the new World Trade Center. During the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, it played a crucial role in rescuing individuals affected by the collapse of the World Trade Center. Additionally, the marina served as a filming location for the yacht scenes in the 2013 film The Wolf of Wall Street.
