Zuccotti Park
Zuccotti Park, previously known as Liberty Plaza Park, is a publicly accessible green space covering 33,000 square feet (3,100 m²) in Manhattan's Financial District. This park is part of a privately owned public space managed by Brookfield Properties and Goldman Sachs. It is situated at the intersection of Broadway to the east, Liberty Street to the north, Trinity Place to the west, and Cedar Street to the south.
Established in 1968 by United States Steel from Pittsburgh, the park was created after negotiations between property owners and city officials. It was originally named Liberty Plaza Park due to its proximity, just one block south of One Liberty Plaza. The northwest corner of the park faces Four World Trade Center, making it a popular spot for both local visitors and workers in the financial sector.
