Josefstädter Straße is an elevated U6 station in Vienna, located at Josefstädter Straße 84, on the border of the 8th and 16th districts. Situated along the Gürtel, it lies between the Josefstädter Straße exit and Uhlplatz. The station's eastern exit is dominated by the Breitenfeld Parish Church, built in the early Italian Renaissance style. Tram connections include line 2 (towards Ottakring and Friedrich-Engels-Platz) and line 33 (weekdays). The station opened in 1898, designed by Otto Wagner for the Vienna Steam City Railway, and was later renovated in 2011–2013. It also houses the "Carina" pub and a facility for the homeless.
